DS-809 Tool Questions

Good Morning - I bought the DS-809 EFI Unlock Tool for Macbook a few weeks ago but I am having issues using it. I have a model A1502 macbook pro and I can't locate the SAM on the board. Also, I can't seem to install the program on my PC. When I plug in the programmer it does not register or install on my PC. Is there any guidance you can give around both issues? Thanks in advance.
