First Soldering Repair Advice

Hello! I wanted to learn microsoldering so I bough a cheap soldering iron to start. I have a phone laying around that needs the charging port replaced and I wanted to try fixing it. I was wondering If I need a hot air station for that job? or with the soldering iron is enough. Also wanted to ask what kind of repairs should I look to do for a novice like me. I only have right now an chinese 936 soldering station ,solder wire and flux, but I'm looking forward to buy the hot hair station and different tips and a microscope.

I don't think you will need a soldering iron to replace the charging port.
You can buy practice logic board that cannot boot up to practice micro soldering.
For other types of equipment, you can watch videos on the Youtube channel. There are tons of videos of micro-soldering with equipment are listed.
