iPhone 7 display issue

Hi, I have no display at all on my daughters iPhone 7. I have put a multimeter on the pins on the FPC connector for the display and 7 or 8 are beeping in continuity mode. Now I’m trying to learn electronics at the moment and I’m pretty sure there should be no beeping when I put the multimeter on the connector pins. I cannot read schematics yet but I did have a look and it’s part J4502 and assuming I’m reading the numbers of the pins the right way up I’m pretty sure it’s pins-1,5,7,13,15 and 17 on one side and just pin number 20 (LCM TO MANY BSYNC CONN) on the other side. I have no idea where to head next to repair this phone, could anybody please point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
