iPhone 8 not working after updating

So I updated my iPhone 8 to iOS 12.1.4 the other day. Now the phone is having more than one trouble. No service. No SIM card detected. Can I fix this by downgrading the phone?

This is caused by iOS itself, also say a bug of iOS12.1.4. However, this is not commonly seen with iOS12.1.4. You can downgrade to iOS12.1.3.
