iPhone XR front camera not working but FaceID is working

Hi, rear camera is working. When I open camera app and want to take a selfie with front camera it is completly black. It doesn´t even take a photo. It is also black when setting up Faceid. I tried front camera module with faceid from another iPhone XR but it was still black. I tried updating iOS and it didn´t help. I am not first owner of this device so I don´t know any previous information.

According to your description, confrom the fault is caused by MLB issue. Measure the diode value of front camera connector (J4200) for check which signal is abnormal and then you could find out bad component.
