Samsung S8 will not charge and not power up. When attempting to charge will periodically get white line and random flashes on screen

Samsung S8 Battery died.  Attempted to recharge using factory cable and charging block.  Have swapped out for multiple cables and configurations. Have tried wireless charging with Samsung Fast Charger.  Charger will show blue led light when phone is placed onto stand.  Left on stand overnight and still will not power on. Have tried the sound down button and power button trick with no results.
