Hi,

I have read this document [How To Upgrade RAM On MacBook Air] and know how to upgrade RAM on macbook air 2014. But I have a question about step 7-Change BIOS and Restore.

As the guide said,"The RAM of MacBook is bound with BIOS, so we need to change the BIOS and restore."

I have readback BIOS data before upgrade. Where should be change in the BIOS data. Can you give me more detail informations?

The BIOS is different when upgrade RAM on MacBook Air from 2G to 4G/8G, after upgrade RAM, you need to write the BIOS of 4G or 8G.
