Many users find iPhone 12 Siri is not responding. How to fix it? REWA has brought the relevant solution to you.
Those who use Siri to help to complete various operations may find that when the iPhone screen is down, or when the camera is blocked, Siri may not work while being asked. In fact, this is normal, unrelated to mobile phone hardware or software conditions.
Previously, users can only use Siri when the iPhone screen faces up. But now, for users to use Siri more conveniently, Apple has improved this feature in a newer system version.
If you want Siri to work normally at any time, turn on Listen for “Hey Siri” in iPhone settings.
If you don't see this option in the settings, try updating the system to the latest version. If you still cannot use the "Hey Siri" function normally, please refer to the following instruction:
Check that "Hey Siri" is on
Go to settings and tap Siri & search. Here, make sure the following settings are turned on:
Listen for “Hey Siri”
Suggestions on Lock Screen
Set "Hey Siri" to help Siri recognize your voice:
1. Go to settings and tap Siri and search.
2. Turn off Listen for “Hey Siri” and turn it on again.
3. When the Listen for “Hey Siri” screen appears, tap" continue ".
4. Say each command you see on the screen and tap finish.
Check whether "Siri" has been disabled
Go to "Settings" - "screen time" - "content and privacy restrictions" - "allowed apps" to make sure "Siri and dictation" is not off.
Check if there is something wrong with the microphone
Connect a headset with a microphone and ask Siri a question to see if Siri is responding. If Siri's voice is not heard, check if the device is muted or voice feedback is off. Go to Siri and search to view and manage voice feedback to change Siri's response.
